I don’t know the English word for bakso, because if I say it’s meatball, it will be a different dish which western people knows.
But, actually, bakso is somekind of meatball. It’s made from ground meat and flour, and the shape is like a ball. We eat bakso in soup. We can add fried onion, cellery, chilli sauce and tomato sauce.
So………….I worked on Saturday, prepared things for my trip on Sunday, for a machine demo. I was finally able to contact Dr. AHB on Friday 5 PM, he said the surgery will be on Monday morning.
I asked Arie to work too because she needed to prepare her presentation materials for Sarjito Hospital and I wanted to see it before I left.
Arie said that her cousin just opened a restaurant, serving bakso. It’s not just bakso, it’s special bakso.
After work finished, we decided to go there for afternoon snack. The location is near Sandwich Bakar, in Puri Indah area, Jakarta Barat.
The restaurant is called BAKSO ATOM.
The size of the bakso is big, almost as big as my fist. Imagine that! (Wished I took some pics of the bakso).
I chose three flavors. The bakso is filled with various filling: cheese, egg, ground shrimps, etc.
The bowl was big too!
After sometime, we chat n chat, I felt my stomach was getting very full after the second bakso. Then Arie told me that actually, one bakso can make you full. And I took 3 of them!
My my, I was greedy!
I should have used this trick: order one type at a time, so I can come there again next time to try other type of bakso.
Oh man, I was very full. I had my lunch at 2 PM, and had this bakso at 4.30 PM.
