Lebaran this year

I will miss my dad this Idul Fitri.
It will be our first time celebrating it separately. I and my sister are in Jakarta, and him in Medan.

That sucks! Idul Fitri  is supposed to be celebrated with family and love ones, and not being alone here. I didn’t know what I will do this holiday.

As usual, will visit family members and relatives. I need to arrange the route first, so the elderlies will get our visits: grandparents, aunties, uncles…….
After 1st dan 2nd day of Syawal, I’ll have sometime to visit my old friends, that if they stay in Jakarta or at their home.

I wonder how’s my dad doing with no us there……………

Mau Lebaran nih……… (Eid holiday is coming)

It’s still Thursday, but the streets looked empty already
I drove to office in a shorter time. No traffic jam. So nice.

Since yesterday, I have been feeling very lazy to go to work. Well, whole office has been too. But my CEO was still visiting and we had meetings with him.

For my overseas friends, there’s a tradition here when Idul Fitri comes. It’s called MUDIK (moo-deek).
What is it?

It’s an event when people originally from outside Jakarta, been living for sometimes in Jakarta, go back to their home town, before Eid, so they can be with their big family on Eid.

They will bring "oleh-oleh" for their family members.

So, people has already gone to their home town since Wednesday. Leaving Jakarta empty. Woo hoo….. I’ll  try take  some  pictures of empty  streets later and post it.

Just hope that the number of people coming back to Jakarta doesn’t increase. Because usually, they will bring their relatives, or their friends to Jakarta so they can work here….. Or take a high risk, unemployed when arrived with a BIG hope to get work here.

Ihhh, bete!

Well, I can’t translate that title into English.

Can anyone help me here? LOL. Bete is a slang word. Mmmm, I tried to pick some english words that can describe that word:

Bete is some kind of bad mod feeling. You feel bored and annoyed, you feel it sucks.

Anyway, I’m not writing this post for discussing that slang word.

I wanted to wrote what I felt the whole week. BETE!

This boss of mine, I didn’t know what’s got into him. Everyone in the office got scolded too. I don’t care……..I was annoyed with this, cause he kept reminding me about the work I had to do that time. Come on, as if I didn’t do my job. It took time to finish it! I needed data from colleagues and waited another summary from my other colleague.

What annoyed me the most that he scolded me in front of my CEO yesterday. S**t !!

He didn’t know what I faced, he just scolded. But then I thought……….he’s the boss……It’s my fault if I can’t meet the dead line….     >_<

I’m one poor creature……………..

Fell asleep

I don’t know what happened to me this couple of days.

At noon, I’d get headache and head felt so heavy. Once I got home, I’d feel very tired. Even at 7 pm or 8 pm, I just wanted to hit my bed straight away, although I haven’t taken my shower.

The bed was like a magnet to me.

I missed sholat Isya’. I’m so sorry ALLAH.

And I missed my sahoor time once, then the two nights after, I got up several minutes before Imsak. Haaaaa!

Went to autorepair shop again

Setelah kejadian oli bocor waktu itu, sekitar hari Kamis 12 Oktober, mobil gue bawa lagi ke bengkel.
Sehari sebelumnya mesin gue isi lagi oli 2 liter (Rp 60.000), abis kering banget, makanya pressure di dashboard gue rendah.

Pas gue bawa ke bengkel, itu oli berceceran sepanjang jalan. Dan di bengkel diisi lagi 2 liter (Rp 60.000). Gileeee.

Eh kata pak montir, sebenarnya it’s very simple. Karena waktu itu dia tutup saluran vacum fuel press-nya maka berakibat oli nya merembes.
Ihhhh…………tau begitu yaaaa……..

Soalnya aneh banget, pas mobil dinyalakan, kap mobil gue buka, dan dari tutup pengukur oli, merembes dari situ, olinya naik.

Akhirnya sama dia dibuka lagi, cuma gue disarankan beli vacum itu (untuk idle up). Gue tanya A’a Eky kalo yang bagus Rp 150.000, kalo yang biasa Rp 75.000.
Yah, kapan gue punya waktu ke Atrium buat beli itu ya?
Pak montir bilang, bengkel bisa bantu beli’in tapi kalo khusus beli onderdil itu aja, jadi agak repot. Ya sudahlah…………..

Nah, Sabtu kemarin, 14 Oktober, pas aku ke Ciledug, mobil gue mogok di perempatan Joglo.
Soalnya kondisi jalan agak padat merayap, nah gasnya mendadak nge-drop.
Jadi mobilnya mati, bisa nyala lagi, tapi gue mesti injak gak terus.
Langsung gue cari tempat aman untuk parkir.
Gue sempat beli oli lagi, hahahaha………………Rp 28.000. Takut kering soalnya. Mana duit tinggal 40.000.

Terus bengkel gue telpon, montir suruh gue naikin setelan gasnya. Oh iya, bener juga tuh.

Ya udah akhirnya sampai ke Ciledug dengan selamat.

Cuma  gue masih penasaran kenapa ada bunyi "ngik ngik" tiap kali gue injak rem, or kalau lewat jalan yang berlubang.

A day in bengkel - the Story

Sorry about my last post, I accidentally posted it without realizing that I have not written anything there. I thought I have clicked "Draft".

Well, here it goes (my fan, Andy Imam, is not being patient to read  this post, LOL).

I was still worried about the missing screw in the front wheel. Also, the car has not been checked for sometimes after my dad went back to Medan.

I kept delaying going to the autoshop, but last Saturday I went there, especially because we were going to Bekasi, my auntie’s house. I wanted everything to be alright. No MOGOK di jalan.

I asked them to tune-up the engine, and check all the brakes.
I sat by the car, watching how the mechanics worked. Although I didn’t realize that I fell asleep, LOL.

Here’s what they have done: (Since I’m not familiar with english terms for automobile , I wrote next in Bahasa)

1. Ruang pembakaran dibersihkan pake pembersih, seperti foam, kata montirnya sih namanya, Bzook. Mahal juga tuh sekalengnya, Rp 70.000.

Hiii, asap yang keluar dari knalpot hitaaaaam……..Montirnya tanya, apa ini sudah lama banget gak dibersihkan? Emang kok Pak……..hehehe

Tune up Rp 150.000.
Ganti busi, 6 biji, pake yang bukan untuk Merci, Rp 75.000. Kalo pake punya khusus Merci, 1 biji Rp 30.000, wah wah, bisa bangkrut kan guenya?

Gue bilang ke mereka kalo setelan gas dan lainnya sudah oke, karena bokap yang setel waktu itu.

2. Nah, pas dibersihkan pake Bzook, ketauan kalau knalpot gue bocor. Soalnya ada asap yang keluar dari tempat laen.

Pas mobil gue diangkat pake hidrolik  dan diperiksa, ternyata banyak lubang-lubang kecil di bawah tempat duduk penumpang. Sama montirnya lubang-lubang itu di-las.

Tidak di-charge biaya las. Kok bisa ya? kelewat mungkin sama mbak yang tukang catat administrasinya, hehehe.


3. Service rem, abis gue serem setiap gue injak rem, kok kedengaran bunyi "ngik, ngik" dari ban (yang pasti mobilnya gak bengekan!). Gejala ini sudah pernah kejadian, pas mobil gue terbakar tuh…. Tapi waktu itu kan sama bokap, kampas rem dan disc break-nya udah diganti yang baru.

Kata montirnya juga onderdilnya pada masih bagus.

Biaya Rp 100.000,-

4. Pas ban mobil mau dipasang lagi setelah service rem, gue suruh montirnya double check. Eh, di ban depan, ada sekrup yang missing, makanya dia bilang kalo jalan muncul bunyi2.

Jadi dua sekrup dihargai Rp 15.000

5. Vacum fuel press-nya bermasalah, dari selangnya keluar bensin. Kata pak montir, itu tidak boleh terjadi, apalagi kalau sampai tercampur dengan oli. Waaahhhhhhhh…..

Akhirnya sama dia, ada sambungan yang ditutup, katanya sih gak bakal ngaruh ke mana2.

Gue percaya aja dah ama expertnya.

6.   Oli mesin mesti ditambah, soalnya tinggal sedikit pas dicek. Pake Top 1 20-50 , 1 liter. (Soalnya pas ganti oli, sama A’a Eky dia pake Top 1), Rp 30.000

Dari pukul 11.00 Wib sampai 15.00 Wib gue ada di bengkel. Karena gue sempat ketiduran pas lihat kerja pak montir, gue pindah ke ruang tunggu mereka dan lanjut tidur lagi sampai mereka kelar.

Nah, pas gue sampai di Ciledug, jemput adek gue sekeluarga, gue lihat kenapa ada genangan oli di bawah dekat tempat duduk supir. Gue buka kap mobil, kelihatan ada noda besar oli di  kap bagian dalam dan noda percikan oli di mesin.

Alhasil, gue telpon bengkelnya. Kata montir, seharusnya sih tidak boleh ada rembesan Oli.

Dia suruh gue amati, nanti pas sampai Bekasi, cek lagi olinya. Kalo berkurang, ya ditambah lagi.

Hmm, ok 1 problem sudah berlalu, problem berikutnya kenapa mobil gak bisa nyala????

Starternya bisa dinyalakan, tapi kenapa seakan-akan gak nyamber?

Gue telpon lagi bengkel, mereka gak bisa kasih bantuan, susah kalo gak langsung lihat kondisi mesinnya.

Wah, kalo kaya’ gini sih bisa gak jadi buka puasa di rumah Bulek Yani, hiks……

Terus diputuskan untuk menunggu sebentar, biar mobilnya mendingin. Kata adek gue, gak lama sebelumnya dia mengalami kaya’ gini juga, lalu dia diemin aja, baru distarter lagi dan mobile bisa nyala.

Tiba-tiba…………..gue teringat kejadian kaya’ gini. Pas mogok di Tanah Abang, dan perkiraaan problem karena aki. Waktu aki diganti dengan yang baru, mesin masih gak mau menyala.

Selidik punya selidik dan telpon bokap di Medan, ternyata sekring bensin putus. Sekring itu letaknya di dekat aki. Langsung gue buka kap mobil, dan pantas aja, sekringnya gak putus, tapi longgar, jadinya mobil gak mau nyala.

Abis gue kencangin sekring dan holdernya, mobil mau idup. Ahhhh, Alhamdulillah.

Buka puasa bentar, n sholat maghrib, trus langsung pergi deh.

Gue mesti balik lagi ke bengkel untuk cek rembesan oli itu.
