Journey of Mi[rna]

It’s
almost 1 month we have stayed in the new ruko. The first 2 weeks, I have no
problem going to the office every morning. I went out of the house at 7 AM and
arrived at around 7.40 AM. At first I said, OK I’m doing well here, I won’t be
late. But I was informed by my tukang ojeg that it was because school students
were having holidays, that’s why the streets were quiet, wait untill they go to
school again!

Oh uh…………..It
came true! I always arrived at 8.15 or 8.30 at the office. I’m always late!
Must think, must think……Tried to go early, 6.45 AM, and I arrived at 7.45 AM. On
the next day, same time, but I was late again, 8.20! What is this!!!!!!!!

I hate
the traffic jam here! The new location is good, but not the traffic ! All appoinment
schedules were messed up because of that traffic jam!

There are
3 areas where there’s jam. First, the street after BatuSari Junction to Gili
Sampingan junction, then kemanggisan area, and along Jl. Tanjung Duren.

Actually
I have an alternative route, but I may need to walk further and the possibility
to get the seat in KWK is small. Usually the seats will be full already.

I’m
lost here! Should I buy electric bike? Or buy motorbike? Nah…….to costly!

I know it’s not February yet, the month of romance and love………What can I say, L-O-V-E has struck me before that….hehehe.

I won’t say more about this untill the time comes……..So, just wait for the next chapter.

Interesting
topic…….I woke up in the morning, in Seremban, Malaysia, on the day we were going to have team
building training.

I just wanted
to kill my time till I got shower, so I switched on the TV. Then on TV2, they
were having this programme “Positively AM”, hosted by Lina Teoh.

They were
talking and discussing about managing our roles. Which roles? Our roles as a
child, as a sister, as wife, as a husband, as an employee, as parents, and so
on…..Those kinds of role.

It really
suited my situation, made me thinking about my roles (a daughter,  a sister, a niece, an auntie, an employee)

They had
two guest speakers. In overall, the roles must be managed in balance, because
we play multiple roles. Sometimes we have to focus more on one aspect at a
certain time, because of our limitations. Nobody’s perfect. Sometimes we cannot
play a role well, but it doesn’t mean that we are not a good person. So, don’t
be guilty about that.

For
example:

I am a
mother with children. My mother is ill and one of my children is also ill at
the same time. What is my priority? Since I have siblings, I can ask them to
watch mother while I wouldn’t visit her frequently because I have to take care
of my child. I will tell my mother about this and ask her understanding. But in
other time, I will spend more time with my mother.

That’s
prioritizing and balancing the roles.

Do those
roles out of love, not see them as duties or tasks.

In
conclusion, to do a role, we must like that role and must know the reason we
are doing it.

Tahu formalin, bakso formalin, ikan asin formalin, bakso daging tikus, sambel botol dari cabe busuk, ayam bangkai untuk dimakan………….

Blaaghhhhhhh…………
