Ramadhan this year

Sigh, Ramadhan is almost over! I’m gonna miss you my holy month….. I feel guilty.
I didn’t do my religious activities to the fullest during Ramadhan, when I
can get more pahala.
I was a little ashamed to post below list, but this should
remind me to do better next time:

  • Did not often reading
         Al-Qur’an
  • Did not doing Tarawih prayers
regularly. I think I only did 5 times.
  • Did not doing Tahajud prayers
regularly, when I can ask so many things to Allah, a special time when I can communicate with Allah.

Sad
part was I got to spend Ramadhan alone because my sister and family were still
living in Dicky’s family house.

I
missed Kolak, Es Kelapa Muda, Es Timun Suri, and all sweets and drinks served
only during Ramadhan. Hehehe….

Airports (I have my story about this on August)

Following my posting on August about Jakarta International Airport (Soekarno-Hatta), here are some pictures I took from airport waiting lounge in Incheon (South Korea). Kinda dark….

I need to get the pic of KLIA waiting lounge from Henry (Kuala Lumpur International Airport). Henry told me that he accidentally deleted all of our pictures from his digicam. Oh well, I got to use mine then:

My seduction style

Your Seduction Style: Sweet Talker
Your seduction technique can be summed up with “charm” You know that if you have the chance to talk to someone… Well, you won’t be talking for long! ;-) You’re great at telling potential lovers what they want to hear. Partially, because you’re a great reflective listener and good at complementing. The other part of your formula? Focusing your conversation completely on the other person. Your “sweet talking” ways have taken you far in romance - and in life. You can finess your way through any difficult situation, with a smile on your face. Speeding tickets, job interviews… bring it on! You truly live a *charmed life*
What Kind of Seducer Are You?

Another complaint to my phone operator

Do you remember that I lost my CDMA mobile phone the other day?

So, after I realized it, I called my CDMA phone operator and reported that. I asked them to block all calls, incoming and outgoing, so the thief couldn’t use my number. On the next day, Sept 05, I went to their head office. I filled in the report form, submitted my police report, and asked for new chip.

I could get it in 1 hour, but I couldn’t wait because I had another appointment. So, I said to customer service that I would pick it up within the week.

On Sept 10, Saturday afternoon, I went to their office and got the new chip. I was so happy because I could connect to internet again using their connection. I bought Telkom Flexi, but its connection was not good. I started using my new chip on that day untill I went to Seoul on Sept 22-29. Even before I went aboard my plane, I still used it to check my e-mail. And I remember that on September I had to reformat my laptop, therefore I have downloaded many software to equip my laptop. Means, I would get high bill next month.

What happened on the next month? I checked how much my bill was via operator’s toll-line, and I was surprised ’cause it was only Rp 85,491, while I usually got Rp 300,000 - 400,000 every month. Should I be happy then? Only for a while! When I received the bill, it was strange because it only stated the usage up to September 11. And when it should be blocked based on my request, it had usages during the blocking period.

I called the customer service and reported this. I asked them to have a look, to check their data. I waited for quite sometime until they replied me…I think they were not so sure about my situation. I told them about the chronology. And they told me surprising information: They received a request for blocking on Sept 11. So strange!

Their record was different to what I’ve experienced. I told them again the chronology. I said that I didn’t recognize the dialed numbers during Sept 3-10. I told them that I don’t want to get charged for the parallel usage (Is it possible to have parallel usage, when the thief can use my old chip and I use my new chip at the same period of time?).

They said they would check again and get back to me. Then……..they called me, they said that there was a technical problem during a transition from old chip to new chip. That’s why usage after Sept 11 wasn’t stated on the bill.

They have the record of my usage during Sept 18-22, and will accumulate this to next month’s bill.

What to do with the Stalker?

Last night at 1 AM, I got a phone call from the stalker. ….Damn! I didn’t realize it was him, because I was sleeping, and I always keep my mobile on when I sleep. I thought it was my client who was having emergency call!

You know, if you suddenly wake up, and you feel like “flying”. That’s how I felt at that time. I kept asking who was on the phone. Then I snapped, “God, it’s the stalker! What should I do???!!!”

Then the unwanted conversation occurred for 17 minutes and 23 seconds. It was obnoxious. That FREAK was persistent. How come only from my voice, this person has the infatuation and the passion for me. He doesn’t know me, but he said “I Love You” over and over and over. He even wanted to talk to my dad to get his permission to marry me. He’s sick. I was really disgusted.

Eeekkkssss, I was so scared that night. I hung up, I switched off my mobile. I cried and cried……

I felt trapped….I felt I lost my defense as the enemy attacked me during my sleep.

The day after, I told this to my friends and family. Here’s what they suggested

Andrew said: check his mobile number to the phone provider and report him.

Sofi said: Ignore him, don’t sacrifice the mobile number I have had for 5 years.

Ibu Ani said: be patient, this probably a test for me during Ramadhan.

Dad said: change my mobile number, or keep my number and send him SMS to bluff him.

Ibu Tati said: Ignore him

A Secret Admirer or A Stalker ?

This started on Wednesday, Oct 12, when I was in Bandung with Susan, having a business trip.

Susan and I were resting for a while. We just arrived in the hotel and wanted to freshen up. Then, my mobile phone rang, showing a number I didn’t recognize. I picked it up, my reasons are: a) Since the beginning I got this mobile number, I sometimes receive people dialed and looked for wrong person, b) Any clients could call me from anywhere, who knows I could get a sales, right?

I answered the phone, it was the first reason (people looked for another person). So I just told him that this number belonged to me. Now you think it stops here? Oh no no……The next morning, I received an SMS from a mobile number I (again) didn’t recognize……….It said,” Morning sweetie, have u woke up yet?”

I replied via SMS:
Who’s this?

He said: Oh, you have
never known me. I called you yesterday. My name is Ryan.

I replied: Oh, yes, you
were the one who called with area code 064. Why did u dial my number?

He stopped.

The next day, I
received an SMS from same number: ”
Morning sweetie..”

I thought, this is
getting annoying…Then I replied: Why would you call me ‘sweetie’? Please don’t
send any messages, this number is for work.
(Why should I entertain this person
and spend my cell phone charges for replying his messages??).

He replied: Please
don’t think my calling you sweetie as a negative view. Consider it as a dynamic
word.

Huh? Who the hell was
this person!!!

The messages kept
coming and sometimes he called, but I ignored all of them.

On Oct 16, his message
really bothered me, when he said he loved me. I told him: Thx but no thx, I
have someone who loves me already. I don’t need all of this. Stop this rubbish
and move on with your life!!
(Actually I was bluffing at the part of someone loves me, hehehe)

He said that he’s from
Medan, a general surgeon. Oh uh, I must be careful then if I visit hospitals in
Medan.

Watch out for Harry Adrian!!! That’s his name.
