Yeah….. I know, I know, it’s been awhile, so that’s why I’m writing this update on me. Letting you (who comment that I’m such a blog freak, cos I update my blog so frequent) know how I’ve been doing. Awww, I love you guys, hehehe………. But there are people who is freakier than me, LOL.

Let’s carry on. Again, I have made another big decision in my life. Taking chances because it is worth it. It’s just like last year, when I decided to move on and took a job offer from an Indian company. Then God has given me a chance to move on, it keeps better and better (Thank You, God). There’s always risk, consequence, and doubt. I don’t let those affect me. ‘Cos when you know, you know! Consider those things as your challenge, just be confident that you will get through the bad situation. Keep your faith!

I admitted, it wasn’t a smooth resignation. I may hurt some people feelings, they may have bad impression. Again……it’s a risk. You just move on and leave it behind you. It’s history because now you are facing your future. One thing for sure, they will not be responsible for your future, YOU ARE!

Wow, my last post was in August 2008! During that time I have been creating and updating my other blogs and websites.

I can’t get a grip of the new friendster blog using wordpress format. The transition is not complete yet and it’s been three months!. My photo albums are not here, although Friendster Team said they need longer time to move the pictures to this new blog. Also, I think some script isn’t working properly. For example, if you choose a theme with two sidebars, the widgets that you have chosen for sidebar 1 and sidebar 2 will display the same thing, even you have picked different widgets for each sidebar.

For “text” widget, it won’t display the image/graphic when you put html script there. For example, I have pasted Chitika script, the widget didn’t display the graphic, it displays the html code instead.

Or, maybe Friendster doesn’t allow us to put advertisements in our blogs.

Come on, come on. I miss my photo albums, and I want the blog looks perfect.

As I have started my internet activities, picking up domain names is a regular activities for me. Choosing the match domain names and buying them for my websites.
Then it occurred to me, why not getting domain name of my own?
So I bought mirnasakina.com. Whoaaa….. It was a wonderful feeling and such a pride.
Maybe it looks like narcism, but I don’t care.

It’s cool to have an e-mail address such as me@mirnasakina.com, hahaha…..

I kept the name for awhile, then I parked it, then, voila…my website!

Come there: www.mirnasakina.com, cos I’ll be writing there most of the time. (Some will be in English, some will be in Bahasa)

Hahaha, when I just typed the title of this post, I suddenly remember about Leona Lewis’ "Bleeding Love"……

Anyway………

I have this bad habit, bumping my body parts to furnitures or stuffs around me accidentally.
Yeah, and accident was I had last night when I finished my shower and getting ready to sleep. I wanted to get something in the corner of my room. I just slid my right foot to reach the thing, but I bumped my toes to the bed, sooo HARD!!!! I slid too fast and hard. I screamed cos it was so painful, then I saw blood on my fingers which covered my toe.
Poor little pinky toe.

I grabbed tissue and pressed my wound, but you know what. The blood came more and more. I’ve never seen such thing in my experience of having bleeding toe.
I tried to walked fast to my kitchen to get band aid, blood trace was there. And when I was opening the band aid, I could see blood puddling on my floor.

I pressed, pressed again so I can put on the band aid. It still hurts now.
I have double pain: from the bump and from the wound.

All the fuzz started around 2004, when Friendster became a trend.

Well, I joined it too, and I realized it was cool. I met many old friends there.

Why do we join the social site? Let’s see:

1. catching up with old friends
2. creating a network: friends, business
3. meet new people

It is not just adding more contact, collect hundreds of contacts without knowing the person better.

If I add a friend, I want to be responsible for that. Meaning, if they post blog entries or new photos, I’d read/see and leave my comments there. If they have birthday, I’d post birthday wishes. It shows them that I care.

With the activities we have nowadays, we rarely can arrange schedule to meet our friends, even if we live in the same city. So joining social network sites is very useful to me. As I spend my time with internet, I can also watch what’s happening in my friends’ life.

I wouldn’t invite new people or just add them if I know I won’t be able to do those things toward them.
